As the most comprehensive international event on bleeding disorders in 2026, Congress will offer participants a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate in person. The WFH Opening Ceremony—an inspiring start to Congress that brings the global bleeding disorders community together—will take place this evening. Celebrate shared achievements, connect with friends, and set the tone for the days ahead. Come for the excitement and come to find out who will receive the International Frank Schnabel Award, the WFH International Lifetime Achievement Award, and the WFH International Award for Outstanding Service!
Volunteers to be recognized at WFH Opening Ceremony
At the WFH Opening Ceremony this evening, volunteers will receive the International Frank Schnabel Award, the WFH International Lifetime Achievement Award, and the WFH International Award for Outstanding Service! The International Frank Schnabel Award is given to an individual with hemophilia, an inherited bleeding disorder, or to a family member, who has contributed significantly to furthering the mission and goals of the WFH. The WFH International Lifetime Achievement is given to an individual in recognition of a body of work over a period of time. The WFH International Award for Outstanding Service is given to an individual or an organization that has demonstrated outstanding service to the WFH and to furthering the mission of the WFH.
