Don’t forget to get your CME credits for today! The WFH 2026 World Congress has been reviewed and approved for CME-CPD accreditation by the European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH). The EBAH has approved this educational activity for a maximum number of 24.5 CME-CPD credits. Christine Lee Young Researcher Award recipient announced
Ilenia Calcaterra won the Christine Lee Young Researcher Award, given in recognition to a top young researcher (graduate student or postdoctoral fellow) who is the primary author and presenter of a highly rated submitted abstract in any discipline involving hemophilia or other related bleeding disorders. Also, Arianna Colombo won the “Best Free Paper award and Ilenia Calcaterra won the Best Poster award.

Next year, WFH 2027 Comprehensive Care Summit: New Developments in Bleeding Disorders & MSK will take place in Prague, Czechia from April 14 to 16, 2027. This global event—which is open to participants everywhere—will take place in-person and will bring together medical and musculoskeletal (MSK) professionals, bleeding disorders patients and community advocates to discuss the latest medical research, and assess the issues currently faced in the management of bleeding disorders. In 2028, Chicago, U.S.A will be welcoming the WFH 2028 World Congress! Like this year’s event, our next Congress will be the largest and most comprehensive international event on bleeding disorders in 2028, and will bring together healthcare professionals, people with bleeding disorders (PWBDs), national member organizations (NMOs), researchers, advocates, and industry leaders from around the world.
