Les Jumeaux de la FMH 2020 viennent d’être annoncés ! Les lauréats des Jumeaux de l’année du Programme de jumelage des organisations de l’hémophilie sont la NHF (États-Unis) et la HFI (Inde). Les lauréats des Jumeaux de l’année du Programme de jumelage des centres de traitement de l’hémophilie (CTH) sont Aluva (Inde) et Newcastle (Royaume-Uni).
« Ne laissez pas mon fils mourir ». Judy Chege, une mère originaire du Kenya, n’a eu besoin que de ces six mots pour exprimer toute une vie de peur. Heureusement, son cri de désespoir a été entendu par des professionnel·les de santé formé·es par la FMH ainsi que par notre organisation nationale membre (ONM) au Kenya. Son fils Steve est aujourd’hui en bonne santé et agit pour la sensibilisation et la défense d’un meilleur accès aux soins pour sa communauté.
La formation des professionnel·les de laboratoire en matière de troubles de la coagulation a connu d’énormes freins dans le monde entier avec la pandémie de COVID-19, et le Kenya n’y a pas fait exception. Les événements en présentiel sont devenus proscrits, ce qui a entravé la possibilité pour le personnel des laboratoires de recevoir la formation dont ils et elles ont besoin pour aider les personnes atteintes d’un trouble de la coagulation.
La Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie (FMH) et la Canadian Hemophilia Society (CHS) sont très heureuses d’accueillir la communauté mondiale des troubles de la coagulation pour le Congrès mondial 2022 de la FMH, qui sera le premier grand événement hybride de la communauté internationale des troubles de la coagulation.
Le Rapport annuel 2020 de la FMH vient tout juste d’être publié. Il montre tous les efforts que la Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie a continué de mettre en œuvre l’année dernière pour atteindre la vision du Traitement pour tous, malgré les difficultés posées par la pandémie de COVID-19.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
