WFH endeuillée par le décès de Jess McLean (Page)

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie (FMH) a appris le décès récent de Jess McLean (Page). Jess avait été lauréate Jeune de la FMH en 2022 à Montréal (Canada), et était une bénévole très engagée au sein de la Haemophilia Society au Royaume-Uni.

Jess était une défenseure des femmes et des filles atteintes d’un trouble de la coagulation et jouait le rôle de mentor auprès de jeunes membres de la Haemophilia Society. Joueuse de rugby passionnée, elle a participé au film Redefining Impossible – Elite Athletes with Hemophilia (La redéfinition de l’impossible : athlètes d’élite atteints d’hémophilie) aux côtés de Clive Smith, de Hazri Aris et d’autres membres actifs de la communauté des troubles de la coagulation.

Au nom de toute la communauté mondiale des troubles de la coagulation, la FMH tient à adresser ses plus sincères condoléances au mari de Jesse McLean, à sa famille, ses ami·es et à ses collègues.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
