Un nouvel article publié sur les soins de l’hémophilie en Inde

Dans le cadre d’une collaboration multicentres en Inde, des chercheurs et chercheuses ont utilisé des données du Registre mondial des troubles de la coagulation (RMTC) pour leur analyse, et ont publié leurs conclusions dans Haemophilia, la revue officielle de la FMH.

« Haemophilia Care in India: A Multicentre Cross-Sectional Analysis From the World Bleeding Disorders Registry Benchmarking Across Global Gross National Income Strata » (Soins de l’hémophilie en Inde : une analyse multicentres et transversale sur la base de l’évaluation du Registre mondial des troubles de la coagulation dans toutes les strates de revenu national brut mondial) propose la première évaluation nationale des soins de l’hémophilie en comparant les résultats de cohortes globales stratifiées par région et par revenu. Les conclusions révèlent d’importantes lacunes dans le diagnostic, l’accès à la prophylaxie et la santé articulaire, qui reflètent des disparités étroitement liées au niveau de revenu national. Malgré une forte charge de la maladie et des traitements prophylactiques limités, les taux d’emploi des adultes restent plutôt stables, ce qui souligne la résilience de nombreuses personnes atteintes d’hémophilie.

L’étude met également en lumière l’importance des données du RMTC dans l’avancée de la recherche aux niveaux national comme régional, tout en démontrant comment de telles données peuvent soutenir des initiatives de plaidoyer fondées sur les preuves. L’équipe du RMTC a travaillé en collaboration avec les centres participants, en aidant à l’analyse des données et à la préparation du manuscrit.
