Cedric Hermans coopté au conseil d’administration de la FMH

La Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie (FMH) a le grand plaisir d’annoncer la cooptation de Cedric Hermans en tant que membre médical de son conseil d’administration, en date du 25 avril 2024. Son mandat durera jusqu’à l’assemblée générale annuelle de la FMH qui se tiendra au Congrès mondial 2026 de la FMH à Kuala Lumpur, en Malaisie.

Le Dr Cedric Hermans (MD, PhD) a déjà été membre du conseil d’administration de la FMH de 2017 à 2024 (Congrès mondial de la FMH à Madrid, en Espagne). Sa cooptation vient couronner ses précieuses contributions à la FMH.

Le Dr Hermans est chef du département d’hématologie, de l’unité d’hémostase et de thrombose ainsi que du centre pour l’hémophilie de l’hôpital universitaire Saint-Luc de Bruxelles (Belgique). Il a été nommé professeur titulaire à l’école de médecine de l’Université catholique de Louvain en 2012, puis vice-doyen en 2015.

Il est auteur et co-auteur de plus de 360 articles originaux dans des revues internationales, et membre de plusieurs sociétés scientifiques, ainsi que de comités consultatifs internationaux et de recherches de projets collaboratifs. Il a été président de l’EAHAD et est actuellement rédacteur en chef de la revue Haemophilia, la revue officielle de la FMH.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
