Cédric Hermans cooptado al consejo directivo de la FMH

La Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) tiene el enorme gusto de anunciar que Cédric Hermans fue cooptado a su consejo directivo como miembro médico, a partir del 25 de abril de 2024 y hasta la siguiente reunión anual de su Asamblea General, la cual tendrá lugar durante el Congreso Mundial 2026 de la FMH, en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia.

El doctor Cédric Hermans, PhD, fue anterior miembro del consejo de la FMH, desde el 2017 hasta el Congreso Mundial 2024 de la FMH, en Madrid, España. Su cooptación es testimonio de sus invaluables contribuciones a la FMH.

Hermans encabeza la División de Hematología, la Unidad de Hemostasia y Trombosis, y el Centro de Hemofilia del Hospital Universitario Saint-Luc, en Bruselas, Bélgica. Fue nombrado profesor titular de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad Católica de Lovaina en 2012, y vicerrector en 2015.

Es autor y coautor de más de 360 artículos originales en periódicos internacionales y es miembro de diversas sociedades científicas, consejos asesores internacionales y proyectos de investigación colaborativos. Fue presidente de la Asociación Europea para la Hemofilia y Trastornos Afines (EAHAD por su sigla en inglés), y actualmente es editor en jefe de Haemophilia, el periódico oficial de la FMH.

La invaluable experiencia de Cédric Hermans como miembro médico continuará siendo de gran valor para la FMH. Acompáñenos a darle la bienvenida al consejo directivo de la FMH.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
