L’assemblée générale de la FMH adopte une déclaration sur l’édition 2023 de l’OMS de la liste des médicaments essentiels

Une motion a été adoptée lors de l’assemblée générale 2024 de la Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie (FMH), qui s’est tenue le 21 avril dernier au Congrès mondial 2024 de la FMH, au sujet de l’inclusion du cryoprécipité avec et sans réduction des agents pathogènes dans la liste des médicaments essentiels et dans celle des médicaments essentiels pour les enfants de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS).

Lors de cette assemblée, Brian O’Mahony, directeur exécutif de l’Irish Haemophilia Society, une organisation nationale membre (ONM), a proposé l’adoption de la motion, qui a été votée puis ratifiée.

Voici son texte :

« Cette forte préoccupation a été exprimée au sujet de la décision de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) de placer le cryoprécipité avec et sans réduction des agents pathogènes dans la liste modèle des médicaments essentiels, en reléguant les concentrés de facteur de coagulation dont l’efficacité et la sécurité sont prouvées sur la liste des médicaments complémentaires. Cela provoquera un surcroît de morbidité et de mortalité. L’assemblée générale appelle l’OMS à revenir sans attendre sur cette décision erronée. »

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
