La Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso (MD, PhD) élue au conseil d’administration en tant que membre médicale

La Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie (FMH) a le plaisir d’annoncer que la Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso (MD) a été élue membre médicale du conseil d’administration lors de l’Assemblée générale annuelle de la FMH qui s’est tenue le 19 avril dernier, à l’occasion du Congrès mondial 2026.

La Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso (MD) apporte avec elle pour ce nouveau rôle des années d’expérience à des postes de direction au sein de la FMH. Elle a contribué à la mission de la Fédération en faisant progresser la recherche clinique et en participant à élaborer des approches fondées sur les preuves pour améliorer les soins aux personnes atteintes d’un trouble de la coagulation dans le monde entier.

La Dr Mancuso (MD) est membre de plusieurs sociétés scientifiques et occupe un rôle de membre médicale au sein du groupe de travail European Rare and Inhibitor Network (ERIN) de l’European Hemophilia Consortium (EHC). Elle préside le groupe médical consultatif de l’EHC mais aussi l’Association italienne des centres de l’hémophilie (AICE). Elle a par ailleurs été coprésidente du sous-comité scientifique et de standardisation de l’ISTH sur le FVIII, le FIX et les troubles rares de la coagulation.

La Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso est hématologue et travaille en tant que consultante senior en hématologie au Centre for Thrombosis and Hemorrhagic Diseases de l’IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital de Rozzano (Milan, Italie). Elle est professeure clinique adjointe à la Humanitas University. Elle a obtenu un diplôme d’études supérieures en hématologie clinique et expérimentale ainsi qu’un doctorat en méthodologie clinique. Elle participe à des recherches cliniques et a publié plusieurs articles originaux dans des revues à comité de lecture comme le New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Lancet Hematology, Blood, Blood Advances, le Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Haematologica, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, et le British Journal of Haematology and Haemophilia.
