Cooptation de Bishesh Poudyal au conseil d’administration de la FMH

L’Assemblée générale annuelle 2022 de la Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie a eu lieu le samedi 8 mai dernier, juste avant le Congrès mondial 2022 de la FMH. L’événement a vu la réélection de certains membres et l’élection de nouveaux membres du conseil d’administration. Un membre supplémentaire du conseil a été coopté.

Le Dr Bishesh Poudyal, professeur d’hématologie, coordinateur DM en hématologie et chef du département d’hématologie clinique et de greffe de moelle osseuse à l’hôpital public de Katmandou (Népal), a été coopté au sein du conseil d’administration de la FMH en tant que membre médical. M. Poudyal est engagé depuis de nombreuses années auprès de la Société népalaise de l’hémophilie (NHS) et de la FMH. Il est un ardent défenseur du Registre mondial des troubles de la coagulation (RMTC), partage son expérience de terrain avec la FMH et aide à l’amélioration de la collecte de données au niveau mondial. Au sein de la NHS, il a fait partie d’une équipe de membres très impliqué·es qui ont mené avec succès des actions de plaidoyer à différents niveaux de gouvernement au Népal, à la fois pour renforcer la reconnaissance des troubles de la coagulation et pour obtenir de nouveaux financements. M. Poudyal travaille également sans relâche en tant qu’enseignant : il transmet ses connaissances sur l’utilisation efficace des produits issus de dons du Programme d’aide humanitaire de la FMH, et forme les patient·es à la meilleure gestion possible de leur maladie. En tant que membre médical de notre conseil, M. Poudyal continuera à partager sa précieuse expérience avec la communauté mondiale des troubles de la coagulation. The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH.
