The International Hemophilia Training Centre (IHTC) Fellowship Program provides training in all aspects of bleeding disorders management for healthcare professionals in developing countries. Tomorrow, from 4 to 5 p.m., the WFH will be holding a reception to celebrate 50 years of its longest standing program. Come attend and mingle with your peers to celebrate this major milestone!
From a modest beginning in 1972, the IHTC Fellowship Program has now grown to include 34 designated training centres around the world and has awarded fellowships to over 800 medical and paramedical professionals from 80+ countries. Fellows come from every specialty in the multidisciplinary team. Training focuses on comprehensive care, hands-on experience, and provides an opportunity for fellows to experience the day-to-day operation of another hemophilia treatment centre.
