La FMH endeuillée par le décès de Herman de Smet

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la FMH a appris le récent décès de Herman de Smet, président de l’Association belge de l’hémophilie (Association de l’hémophilie von Willebrand et autres pathologies de la coagulation).

M. De Smet a travaillé sans relâche pour l’Association belge de l’hémophilie pendant 20 ans, dont il était le président depuis 2010. Son dévouement aux patient·es de Belgique pour faire en sorte qu’ils bénéficient des meilleurs soins était bien connu. Il était très présent au niveau international et a travaillé avec la FMH dans le cadre de nombreuses initiatives : le jumelage Belgique-Côte d’Ivoire, toujours en cours, témoigne de son engagement. On se souviendra de sa gentillesse et de sa personnalité extravertie, ainsi que de son dévouement passionné à notre vision commune du Traitement pour tous.

Au nom de la communauté mondiale des troubles de la coagulation, la FMH adresse ses plus sincères condoléances à toute la famille de Herman de Smet, ainsi qu’à ses ami·es et collègues.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
