Las organizaciones nacionales miembros (ONM) constituyen el corazón de la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH). La FMH trabaja en estrecha colaboración con sus ONM a fin de brindarles apoyo adaptado a sus realidades y ayudarlas a incrementar el nivel de atención para las personas con trastornos de la coagulación (PCTC) en sus respectivos países. Periódicamente presentaremos en la página de noticias de la FMH los perfiles de varias ONM y destacaremos la labor que llevan a cabo, los desafíos que enfrentan, y la diferencia que marcan en sus países. Hoy entrevistamos a la ONM de Kirguistán, la Sociedad Kirguisa de Hemofilia.
La Plataforma de aprendizaje electrónico de la FMH ofrece contenido sobre temas relacionados con trastornos de la coagulación y más de 800 recursos educativos, entre ellos videos, grabaciones de webinarios, módulos de aprendizaje interactivo y herramientas en línea para profesionales médicos, personas con trastornos de la coagulación (PCTC) y sus familiares. Periódicamente se agregan nuevos materiales, y este año se incorporó una amplia gama de informativos contenidos.
En octubre de 2023, la Sociedad Internacional sobre Trombosis y Hemostasia (ISTH por su sigla en inglés) emitió un borrador de sus guías para el tratamiento de la hemofilia con el objeto de recibir comentarios del público. Estas guías constan de 13 recomendaciones calificadas relativas al tratamiento de las hemofilias A y B, tales como la opción entre tratamiento profiláctico y episódico, la preferencia por una modalidad de tratamiento (productos derivados de plasma, factores recombinantes de vida media estándar o prolongada, anticuerpo biespecífico), o uso de agentes de desvío en pacientes con inhibidores. La ISTH recibió y evaluó más de 400 comentarios sobre estas 13 recomendaciones. Sin embargo, la ISTH señaló de antemano que no modificará la redacción de cada recomendación. Se espera que las guías finales se publiquen en mayo de 2024.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
