La FMH lamenta el deceso del profesor y doctor Djajadiman Gatot

La Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) recibió con profunda tristeza la noticia del reciente deceso del profesor y doctor Djajadiman Gatot, pediatra consultor de los departamentos de Hematología y Oncología del hospital Primaya Evasari en Yakarta, Indonesia, y presidente de la Sociedad Indonesia de Hemofilia.

El profesor Djaja, como lo llamaban cariñosamente, fue el fundador de la Fundación de Oncología Infantil de Indonesia, y trabajó en el área de salud infantil y cáncer pediátrico en el hospital Primaya Evasari. Desempeñó un papel fundamental en el apoyo a las personas con trastornos de la coagulación (PCTC) de dicha institución. Asimismo, el profesor y doctor Gatot trabajó en estrecha colaboración con la FMH en numerosas iniciativas. Realizó diversos aportes a la revista oficial de la FMH, Haemophilia, y colaboró con la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia en la implementación de varios de sus programas, como el Programa PACT y el Programa de Ayuda Humanitaria.

En nombre de la comunidad mundial de trastornos de la coagulación, la FMH desea expresar sus más sentidas condolencias a los familiares, amigos y colegas de Djajadiman Gatot.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
