El mundo celebra el Día mundial de la hemofilia 2026

El tema de este año, El diagnóstico: primera etapa de la atención, destaca la importancia crucial del diagnóstico, el primer paso indispensable para el tratamiento y la atención. La FMH calcula que más de tres cuartas partes de la población de personas con hemofilia en el mundo permanece sin recibir diagnóstico, y que también existe una brecha mucho más importante en el caso de otros trastornos de la coagulación. Esto quiere decir que cientos de miles de personas con trastornos de la coagulación alrededor del mundo todavía carecen de acceso a atención básica. Contamos con la fuerza ‒y con el compromiso compartido‒ para lograr este cambio. Podemos mejorar los resultados del diagnóstico fortaleciendo las habilidades de los profesionales de la salud y mejorando la eficacia de los laboratorios. Al incrementar las tasas de diagnóstico a escala mundial podemos acercarnos más a nuestra visión compartida de Tratamiento para todos.

El 17 de abril se celebraron cientos de actos en diferentes ciudades de todo el mundo con motivo del Día mundial de la Hemofilia. Se compartieron docenas de historias en la página de historias del Día mundial de la hemofilia—, en la que cualquier persona puede compartir una historia o un video de su experiencia con los trastornos de la coagulación.
