NHF hosts 17th workshop on gene therapy header

NHF auspicia 17o taller sobre terapia génica

La National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) recientemente auspició su 17o taller sobre terapia génica, titulado Taller sobre terapia génica con VAA y tecnologías innovadoras: Entender los anticuerpos neutralizantes y el análisis genómico.

El taller –coencabezado por los doctores Glenn Pierce, PhD, vicepresidente médico de la FMH, y David Lillicrap– se ha realizado cada pocos años desde 1966. Estas conferencias científicas de alto nivel reúnen a expertos de varios campos, entre ellos inmunólogos, médicos, investigadores, encargados de la reglamentación y pacientes, a fin de abordar los avances más recientes y los retos en el campo de la terapia génica para la hemofilia.

Durante el evento de dos días y medio de duración, las presentaciones abarcaron una amplia gama de temas, desde ciencias de laboratorio hasta ensayos clínicos. El taller ofreció una oportunidad para que los expertos en el campo compartieran sus hallazgos más recientes, colaboraran en enfoques innovadores y conversaran sobre los desafíos que enfrenta la terapia génica para la hemofilia.
