Ampaiwan Chuansumrit, MD Ampaiwan Chuansumrit, MD, received her medical degree and diplomas from the Thai Board of Pediatrics and Hematology, and has also studied in Sweden, the U.S.A, Japan and the United Kingdom. Chuansumrit is currently the Consult of the International Hemophilia Training Center-Bangkok, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Saliou Diop, MD, MSc Saliou Diop is a Professor of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Dakar Cheikh Anta Diop University, Senegal. His research interests focus on the diagnosis and management of inherited bleeding disorders in Africa. He is currently the head of the International Hemophilia Treatment Center in Dakar, Senegal. Diop works with various stakeholders in many African countries to improve the diagnosis and management of this disease.

Roseline d’Oiron Roseline d’Oiron graduated as a medical doctor from UFR Broussais-Hôtel-Dieu, University Paris VI, and completed her speciality training with master’s degrees in hematology, immunology, immunopathology, and transfusion medicine from UFR Saint-Antoine, University Paris VI. Her research interests are principally in hemophilia in children and adults (especially molecular mechanisms of hemophilia, inhibitors, mild/moderate hemophilia, and carrier issues) and of Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia. She serves as president of the steering committee of the FranceCoag registry on bleeding disorders and served as an elected member of the executive committee of the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), from 2013 to 2017. Paula James, MD, FRCPC Paula James is a full Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University. She is the Medical Director of the Inherited Bleeding Disorders Clinic of Southeastern Ontario and its aligned Women and Bleeding Disorders Clinic and runs an active research program focused on the biology and clinical impact of inherited bleeding disorders.

Víctor Jiménez-Yuste, PhD, MD After completing his degree in Medicine at the University of Valladolid, Víctor Jiménez-Yuste specialized in hematology at the Hospital Universitario La Paz. He was awarded his PhD by the Autónoma University of Madrid where he completed his thesis studying hemophilia and HIV infection. Jiménez-Yuste is a member of the executive committee of the Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy. His lines of research include the treatment of hereditary coagulation disorders, ITP, and acquired hemophilia. Frank W.G. Leebeek, MD, PhD Frank W.G. Leebeek coordinates a research team on haemostasis and thrombosis with several research areas, mainly inherited bleeding disorders, including von Willebrand disease and hemophilia. He is steering committee member of several studies on new treatments for patients with bleedings disorders, including gene therapy. He is the principal investigator of the Willebrand in the Netherlands (WiN) and WiN-PRO study.

Adolfo Llinás, MD Adolfo Llinás is a staff member of the Adult Reconstructive Surgery Section of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Coordinator of the Hemophilia Program at Fundación Santa Fe University Hospital and Clinical Professor at Universidad de los Andes Medical School. As a volunteer for the WFH since 1994, Llinás has participated in the establishment of comprehensive, multidisciplinary teams for musculoskeletal care of hemophilia and other coagulopathies. Flora Peyvandi, MD, PhD Flora Peyvandi is Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Milan, and director of the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center of the Milan Policlinic Hospital. She is currently the President of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and Past-President of the Executive Committee of EAHAD. She serves as advisor on the European Agency of Medicine and on the Technical Health Committee of the Italian Ministry of Health.
