Webinario: Mujeres y niñas con trastornos de la coagulación (MNTC) y salud reproductiva

El 8 de marzo, Día Internacional de la Mujer, de 8:00 a 9:00 a. m. Horario del Este (EST), la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) auspiciará el webinario Mujeres y niñas con trastornos de la coagulación (MNTC) y salud reproductiva, centrado en la enfermedad de Von Willebrand (EVW), embarazo y hemorragias posparto y del tracto reproductivo.

Los participantes en este webinario tendrán la oportunidad de escuchar a expertas clave en este campo, de hacerles preguntas y de conocer experiencias de mujeres con EVW. Los siguientes son los objetivos del evento:

Las presentaciones correrán a cargo de Dawn Rotellini, miembro del consejo directivo de la FMH y presidente del Comité de la FMH sobre mujeres y niñas con trastornos de la coagulación; de la doctora Lakshmi Srivaths, profesora de pediatría y presidente de la red Women and Girls with Blood Disorders Learning Action Network; de la doctora Paula James, profesora de patología y medicina molecular y pediatría, y miembro del Comité de la FMH sobre EVW; así como de Lauren Nyhan y Cathy Verbraeken, dos mujeres neozelandesas con un trastorno de la coagulación, entre otras personas. Las ponentes abordarán la importancia del diagnóstico precoz para MNTC como factor clave a fin de evitar complicaciones de salud reproductiva en una etapa posterior de la vida.

Se ofrecerá interpretación en vivo al francés, español, ruso y árabe.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
