Publicación del Informe de datos 2020 del RMTC

Se ha publicado el Informe de datos 2020 del Registro Mundial de Trastornos de la Coagulación (RMTC) de la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) y ya está disponible aquí. Se ha publicado el Informe de datos 2020 del Registro Mundial de Trastornos de la Coagulación (RMTC) de la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) y ya está disponible aquí. Se ha ampliado esta tercera edición del informe a fin de incluir datos sobre 7208 personas con hemofilia (PCH) de 86 centros de tratamiento de hemofilia y 33 países, que representan todas las regiones del mundo. Por segundo año consecutivo, los datos de la República Checa se integraron en el RMTC a través del Programa Internacional de Integración de Datos. El programa se expandirá a otros países durante el año próximo a fin de incorporar aún más datos mundiales en el RMTC.

En este informe se ponen de relieve la inequidad y las disparidades en la atención de la hemofilia mediante indicadores de atención, como la edad en el momento del diagnóstico y el porcentaje de pacientes que reciben profilaxis. Estos datos demuestran que, en los países de menores ingresos, las PCH reciben un diagnóstico más tardío que las de los países de ingresos más altos y es menos probable que tengan acceso al tratamiento profiláctico. Estos dos importantes indicadores demuestran que la atención en los países de menores ingresos está rezagada.

El RMTC sigue siendo el único registro de pacientes que recopila datos a nivel mundial y que se puede utilizar para el cabildeo basado en la evidencia y también para la investigación, ya que ofrece pruebas clínicas del mundo real de mejoras y deficiencias en la atención en todo el mundo. Se trata de una poderosa herramienta para mejorar la calidad de la atención de pacientes en todo el mundo.

La FMH valora los esfuerzos de los centros de tratamiento de hemofilia (CTH) y PCH participantes en este proyecto, así como el respaldo recibido de nuestros socios corporativos.
