Mathieu Jackson electo como miembro lego al consejo directivo de la FMH

La Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) tiene el enorme gusto de anunciar que Mathieu Jackson fue electo como miembro lego al consejo directivo de la FMH en la reunión anual de la Asamblea General que tuvo lugar durante el Congreso Mundial 2024 de la FMH, en Madrid, España, para un periodo de cuatro años.

Mathieu Jackson detenta una maestría en educación comparativa y fundamentos educativos de la Universidad de Montreal, Canadá. Actualmente es líder de la Escuela de Alianzas del Centro de Excelencia sobre Alianzas Entre Pacientes y el Público (CEPPP), del Centro de Investigación del Centro Hospitalario de la Universidad de Montreal (CRCHUM). Es becario del Programa Internacional AFFIRM 2017-2018 para actividades de cabildeo y liderazgo de pacientes.

Jackson tiene hemofilia B y ha participado durante muchos años en la comunidad canadiense de trastornos de la coagulación hereditarios. Del 2020 al 2024 fue presidente del consejo del capítulo de Quebec de la Sociedad Canadiense de Hemofilia y ha participado de diversas maneras con la Sociedad Canadiense de Hemofilia, como miembro tanto del consejo como de múltiples comités. Entre otras actividades, Mathieu Jackson facilitó la integración de pacientes como expertos durante el proceso de elaboración de la tercera edición de las Guías de la FMH para el tratamiento de la hemofilia, y es docente y mentor de la Academia de Cabildeo del Programa PACT de la FMH.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
