La FMH lamenta el fallecimiento de Felipe Contreras

Con gran tristeza, la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) se enteró del reciente fallecimiento de Felipe Contreras, vicepresidente de la Sociedad Chilena de Hemofilia, nuestra organización nacional miembro (ONM) chilena .

Felipe Contreras nació el 29 de agosto de 1982 y estudió percusión antes de pasar a la kinesiología para cumplir su deseo de ayudar a los demás, especialmente a la comunidad de hemofilia. Fue voluntario de la Sociedad Chilena de Hemofilia durante más de 14 años, donde, como vicepresidente, lideró los esfuerzos de investigación de la ONM. A menudo se le podía encontrar brindando terapia a los pacientes o hablando sobre la importancia de las intervenciones musculoesqueléticas tempranas para prevenir o revertir el daño articular. Felipe Contreras fue un voluntario activo en temas musculoesqueléticos, participó en muchos seminarios web y también fue una parte importante del grupo musculoesquelético latinoamericano liderado por la Dra. Carla Daffunchio. Él y su esposa Anaías se ofrecieron como voluntarios en la Iglesia La Viña de Las Condes, apoyando una escuela de fútbol para niños vulnerables.

En nombre de la comunidad mundial de trastornos de la coagulación, la FMH quisiera expresar su más sentido pésame a todos los familiares, amigos y colegas de Felipe Contreras.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH.
