WBDR investigators gather at Congress to strengthen global collaboration

Investigadores del RMTC se reúnen durante el Congreso a fin de fortalecer la colaboración mundial

Profesionales de la salud de centros de tratamiento de hemofilia (CTH) de todo el mundo se reunieron con motivo del Congreso Mundial 2026 de la FMH, realizado en Kuala Lumpur, durante el encuentro de investigadores del Registro Mundial de Trastornos de la Coagulación (RMTC), celebrado el 20 de abril de 2026. La reunión, organizada por el equipo del RMTC como una mesa redonda informal durante el almuerzo, ofreció a los asistentes una valiosa oportunidad para intercambiar experiencias y debatir los desafíos y éxitos relacionados con la participación en el registro.

El encuentro reunió a investigadores de CTH que actualmente aportan datos al RMTC y creó un espacio colaborativo para un debate franco sobre tratamiento de personas con trastornos de la coagulación (PCTC), recolección de datos y estrategias de investigación. Los participantes compartieron experiencias prácticas relacionadas con el mantenimiento de datos de alta calidad, la participación de PCTC en el seguimiento a largo plazo, y la integración de los trastornos de la coagulación poco comunes al registro y a las labores de investigación en curso. Los asistentes abordaron, asimismo, el uso del RMTC como herramienta de cabildeo, y presentaron sugerencias prácticas a este respecto.

Durante la reunión, el equipo del RMTC reconoció los esfuerzos excepcionales de los centros participantes otorgando tres premios a los CTH que demostraron un compromiso sobresaliente con el ingreso y la calidad de los datos.

El equipo del RMTC exhorta a otros CTH de todo el mundo a sumarse al registro y contribuir a su creciente conjunto de datos mundiales. Ampliar la participación en el RMTC sigue siendo fundamental con el objeto de mejorar la comprensión de los trastornos de la coagulación y de impulsar la atención igualitaria a escala mundial.
