David Silva cooptado al consejo directivo de la FMH

La Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) tiene mucho gusto en anunciar que David Silva ha sido cooptado a su consejo directivo, como miembro lego, desde el 17 de marzo de 2023 hasta la próxima reunión anual de la Asamblea General en 2024.

David Silva –quien tiene hemofilia A– ha participado en la comunidad de trastornos de la coagulación española durante más de 25 años. Ha sido miembro del comité directivo de la organización nacional miembro (ONM) de España, la Federación Española de Hemofilia, y fue también miembro lego del consejo directivo de la FMH durante cinco años. Actualmente es presidente de la Real Fundación Victoria Eugenia, organización dedicada a promover y divulgar investigación científica en el campo de la hemofilia y otros trastornos afines.

La carrera profesional de Silva abarca 15 años en muchas organizaciones sin fines de lucro, inclusive cargos de nivel ejecutivo en una organización para personas con discapacidades en Galicia. Actualmente trabaja en educación y capacitación vocacional para estudiantes jóvenes en un centro educativo en España.

Como miembro lego, la valiosa experiencia de David Silva será un gran activo para la FMH. Acompáñenos a darle la bienvenida al consejo directivo de la FMH.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
