Mathieu Jackson has a Masters in Comparative Education and Fundamentals of Education from the University of Montreal, Canada. He is currently Lead of the School of Partnership at the Centre of Excellence on Partnerships with Patients and the Public (CEPPP) at the University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM). He is a fellow of the 2017-2018 International AFFIRM Program on patient advocacy and leadership.
Jackson has hemophilia B and has been involved in the Canadian inherited bleeding disorders community for many years. He was president of the board of the Québec chapter of the Canadian Hemophilia Society from 2020 to 2024 and has been involved in different ways with the Canadian Hemophilia Society, both on the board and on multiple committees. Among other things, Mathieu Jackson facilitated the integration of patients-as-experts in the elaboration of the WFH Guidelines for the Management of Hemophilia, 3rd edition and is a faculty member and mentor in the WFH PACT Advocacy Academy program.
