Together, in 2025, we:
- Advocated for the inclusion of safe and effective therapies in the WHO Essential Medicines List to ensure people with bleeding disorders get access to appropriate care
- Hosted a successful Comprehensive Care Summit in Dubai that brought the global community together
- Distributed 291 million IUs of factor and 2.8 million mg of non-factor replacement therapy through the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program to improve the quality of life of people with bleeding disorders
- Represented the community at the 78th World Health Assembly and WHO Regional Committee meetings to advocate for a World Health Assembly resolution to improve care globally
- Led a series of workshops as part of the Shared Decision Making (SDM)Tool initiative that culminated in the development of consensus-based best practice statements
- Published the WFH Guidelines for the Management of Hemophilia: AAV Gene Therapy, 2025 to ensure stakeholders have access to clear, evidence-based recommendations
- Centred women and girls with bleeding disorders in World Hemophilia Day celebrations
- Released the third edition of the Diagnosis of Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders: A Laboratory Manual, providing laboratory professionals, clinicians, and researchers with an essential resource for lab work
