As a WFH volunteer, Rayner has been a member of the WFH People with Bleeding Disorders (PWBD) Program Development Committee and has been invited as a speaker and chair at various congresses. He was also part of the WFH Global NMO Training (GNMOT) at the WFH 2018 World Congress in Glasgow and recently at the WFH 2026 World Congress in Kuala Lumpur. In 2022, he received the WFH International Frank Schnabel Volunteer Award. Rayner has also been a key trainer for the WFH Global Youth Leadership Program, dedicating his time to mentoring and guiding a new generation of leaders in our community.
Bradley Rayner is a person with hemophilia A who has been instrumental in improving the treatment and care for people living with bleeding disorders in South Africa and abroad. He’s worked closely with WFH Regional Managers as an expert volunteer, participating in workshops as a trainer. He has also advised various national member organizations (NMOs) on capacity-building, and the development of strategic plans and advocacy initiatives.
Rayner has been a volunteer of the South African Haemophilia Foundation (SAHF) for more than three decades, including presiding as the National Chairperson of the SAHF. He also participates in various international programs and advocacy groups and has developed training modules for Youth and NMO development.
Bradley Rayner’s invaluable experience will continue to be a great asset to the WFH as a Lay Member. Please join us in welcoming him to the WFH Board of Directors.
