The 17th WFH International Musculoskeletal (MSK) Congress will take place from May 3 to 7, 2021, and will follow a virtual format for the first time ever. The event will include four interactive workshops designed to inspire collaborative learning. Participants will take part in these workshops in small groups of up to 30 people, and will have a unique opportunity to interact with experts and peers, share and explore ideas and uncover new approaches to current issues in musculoskeletal care.
The interactive workshops will offer healthcare professionals the unique chance to learn highly practical strategies and techniques on managing musculoskeletal treatment for patients with a bleeding disorder. Held after the day’s educational session, the workshops will begin with a 10-minute presentation or demonstration from a leading expert, followed by a one-hour conversational session designed to encourage the exploration of thoughts and ideas related to current concepts in care. A 5-minute review session will close the forum topic.
Four workshops will cover key areas in musculoskeletal care: clinical assessment, ultrasound, manual therapy and clinical cases.
- Clinical assessment. Develop and pursue clinical practice questions, conduct a diagnostic interview in an efficient and effective manner, demonstrate evidence-based clinical examination skills for musculoskeletal assessment, and integrate practice tools into a diagnostic assessment and treatment plan.
- Enhance diagnostic ultrasound skills, and learn about diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound uses and the technique’s potential for enhancing the effectiveness of diagnosis and care.
- Manual therapy. Learn how to apply evidence-based manual therapy techniques for various pathologies using real clinical patient cases.
- Clinical cases. Share difficult or challenging cases with peers and an experienced panel of providers in order to explore musculoskeletal care solutions for patients with hemophilia.
