La Reunión Anual 2026 de la Asamblea General de la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) tuvo lugar el día de hoy, en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia, como parte del Congreso Mundial 2026 de la FMH. La reunión abarcó la incorporación de nuevos miembros al consejo directivo de la FMH y la presentación de informes de avances por parte de la dirección de la FMH. Al evento asistieron representantes de las organizaciones nacionales miembros (ONM) de la FMH y otras partes interesadas.

Marque su calendario y acompáñenos durante la Cumbre 2027 de la FMH sobre atención integral: Nuevos avances en trastornos de la coagulación y temas musculoesqueléticos (MSK). Esta reunión mundial tendrá lugar del 14 al 16 de abril de 2027 en la vibrante ciudad de Praga, Chequia, y reunirá a expertos, pacientes y defensores comunitarios provenientes de todo el mundo.

Para las familias afectadas por la hemofilia en Marruecos, el acceso al tratamiento ha transformado no solamente la atención médica sino también la vida cotidiana. El joven Adam fue diagnosticado después de que presentó una hemorragia abundante luego de una caída. “Cuando lo llevamos [al hospital] nos dijeron que tenía hemofilia”, recuerda su padre, Hasan. Para sus padres, el diagnóstico causó miedo e incertidumbre, preocupaciones que solo eran aliviadas por el apoyo que recibían de organizaciones locales, de la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) y de su Programa de Ayuda Humanitaria.

El Proyecto Elevate Her (en español, Elévala), una iniciativa plurianual de concienciación, cabildeo y recaudación de fondos a escala mundial fundada por Maia Meier, aprovecha algunas de las cumbres más altas del mundo a fin de destacar las necesidades de mujeres y niñas con trastornos de la coagulación (MNTC). Como organización mundial sin fines de lucro aliada, la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) se enorgullece de formar parte de esta iniciativa que tendrá un gran impacto en nuestra comunidad y que se alinea estrechamente con nuestro compromiso de mejorar el reconocimiento, el diagnóstico y la atención de MNTC.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
