La FMH lamenta el fallecimiento de Marion Stolte

La FMH de luto por el fallecimiento de Marion Stolte

Con enorme tristeza la Federación Mundial de Hemofilia (FMH) recibió la noticia del fallecimiento de Marion Stolte, madre dedicada y voluntaria de la comunidad de trastornos de la coagulación hereditarios, tanto en Canadá como a nivel internacional.

Durante más de 25 años, Marion Stolte trabajó incansablemente como voluntaria incidiendo en las vidas de innumerables personas con trastornos de la coagulación y de sus cuidadores. Su conexión con la hemofilia fue de por vida: tanto su padre como su hijo tenían hemofilia A, y ella misma era portadora del trastorno.

Marion desempeñó un papel clave en diversas iniciativas de la Federación, particularmente en el Programa de hermanamiento de la FMH, el cual ayuda a mejorar el tratamiento y la atención de personas con trastornos de la coagulación hereditarios mediante el establecimiento de alianzas de colaboración entre organizaciones nacionales miembros (ONM) de todo el mundo. Participó en varias alianzas de hermanamiento, entre ellas la de la Sociedad Canadiense de Hemofilia con la Sociedad de Hemofilia de Bangladesh, la cual recibió el premio de la FMH al Hermanamiento del año, en 2015.

A nombre de la comunidad mundial de trastornos de la coagulación, la FMH desea expresar sus más sinceras condolencias a familiares, amigos y colegas de Marion Stolte. Su dedicación a las labores voluntarias a favor de nuestra comunidad dejará un legado perdurable.

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
