¡Iluminarse de rojo virtualmente el 17 de abril!

El Día mundial de la hemofilia –que se festeja el 17 de abril– ¡ya está muy próximo! El objetivo del Día mundial de la hemofilia es incrementar el nivel de conciencia sobre la hemofilia y otros trastornos de la coagulación hereditarios. Este año, el tema del gran día es Adaptarse al cambio: Preservar la atención en un mundo nuevo.

El Día mundial de la hemofilia –que se festeja el 17 de abril– ¡ya está muy próximo! El objetivo del Día mundial de la hemofilia es incrementar el nivel de conciencia sobre la hemofilia y otros trastornos de la coagulación hereditarios. Este año, el tema del gran día es Adaptarse al cambio: Preservar la atención en un mundo nuevo. Cada año, edificios de todo el mundo se iluminan de rojo como parte de la campana “Iluminarse de rojo” del Día mundial de la hemofilia. El año pasado se estableció un récord mundial: 98 edificaciones de todo el mundo se iluminaron de rojo como muestra de solidaridad con nuestra comunidad. Las imágenes de dichas edificaciones se compartieron en redes sociales a escala mundial. El año pasado, la comunidad participó de manera virtual para compartir historias y fotografías. La FMH le exhorta a –una vez más– acatar las directrices de salud pública de su comunidad a fin de interactuar con la comunidad de manera segura durante este Día mundial de la hemofilia.

La manera más segura de “Iluminarse de rojo” es llevar la idea del color “rojo” a su perfil en redes sociales. Por ejemplo, puede descargar el banner o el marco para Facebook que conmemoran el Día mundial de la hemofilia de la FMH y mostrarle al mundo cómo se ha adaptado al cambio. También puede usar una prenda roja en casa y compartir una selfie en redes sociales. Otra cosa que puede hacer es animar a sus colegas o compañeros de escuela a que suban una foto de ellos vistiendo de rojo para festejar el día o publicar un collage de fotos de toda la gente de su organización vistiendo de rojo. Si puede tomar una foto de un monumento manteniendo un distanciamiento seguro, hágalo; pero recuerde siempre no correr riesgos.

Unauthorized solicitations – Warning

The WFH has been made aware of various correspondences—circulated via e-mail and telephone—coming from individuals impersonating WFH staff or falsely stating that they are associated with the WFH. These correspondences, which may seek to obtain money using the name of someone affiliated with the WFH, are fraudulent and come from outside of our organization.

If you receive a suspicious solicitation, exercise extreme caution. In the case of an email, look at the email address to see if it looks suspicious (for example, all WFH emails come from @wfh.org).
