What’s new on the WFH eLearning platform

The WFH eLearning platform features educational content on topics relevant to bleeding disorders and over 800 educational resources, including educational videos, webinar recordings, interactive learning modules, and online tools for healthcare professionals, people with bleeding disorders (PWBDs), and their families. New resources are added regularly, and this year featured a wide range of informative content. Miss some of the latest uploads? Have a look at what’s available today!

WFH Webinar on von Willebrand Disease

Listen to this 90-minute webinar to learn about von Willebrand disease (VWD) in low-resource settings. The recording was originally done on September 21, 2023, in English, with interpretation in French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian. Click here to find out more.

Global Policy and Access Summit 2023

Available in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Arabic, the presentations and discussions from the third edition of the WFH Global Policy and Access Summit (GPAS) centre around increasing access to diagnosis, treatment and care for people living with bleeding disorders. The recordings include talks by local and international partner organizations, national government representatives, healthcare professionals, WFH national member organization (NMO) leaders, and bleeding disorders advocates. This updated monograph aims to guide parents and healthcare providers in the interventions and support that can be provided at all stages of development, from birth to adulthood. The monograph is available in English and Spanish. Click here to find out more.

Report on the Annual Global Survey 2022

The most recent Report on Annual Global Survey (AGS) includes demographic and treatment data, providing a global snapshot of people with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, other rare factor deficiencies, and inherited platelet disorders around the world. Click here to find out more.

WFH Shared Decision Making Tool for Hemophilia Treatment

The WFH Shared Decision Making (SDM) Tool is an interactive decision-support system designed to facilitate discussions regarding treatment options between people with hemophilia A or B and/or caregivers and their healthcare team, leading to informed decision-making. Click here to access the tool and corresponding videos and fact sheets on the different treatment classes. The SDM Tool is available in English, French and Spanish, with more languages to come.
