Marko Marinic brings years of leadership experience with the WFH to his new role, most recently as a Lay Member from 2022 to 2026.
Marinic is a person with severe hemophilia A with inhibitors. He has been President of the Croatian Haemophilia Society since 2017, and a member of the Board of Directors of the WFH since 2022. He is a scientific advisor at the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences in Zagreb, Croatia. His research area is the quality of life of people with disabilities, quality of life of people with rare diseases, and bioethical issues. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was the value of human life in contemporary society. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Zagreb, a leader or collaborator on numerous scientific projects, the author of three books and more than 60 scientific papers, book chapters, congress presentations, etc.
Marko Marinic’s invaluable experience will continue to be a great asset to the WFH as a Lay Member.
