Hailing from around the world, WFH volunteers provide expertise and guidance to healthcare providers and patient advocates through training and education. They also set and promote standards of excellence, foster collaboration and exchange, and influence government policy at the local, regional, and global levels. These efforts are in line with the WFH focus on building sustainability—ensuring that our involvement today leads to progress that benefits communities for generations.
None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers
In the previous weeks, we have had the opportunity to connect with many of our volunteers to learn more about their experiences—and we have heard time and time again that for them, knowing they are making a real impact on the lives of people with inherited bleeding disorders is all the thanks they need. That being said, their selfless commitment to our vision of Treatment for All cannot go unrecognized.
