Carlos Safadi Márquez brings years of leadership experience with the WFH to his new role as WFH Vice President, Finance, including as Vice President, NMO, from 2020 to 2024.
Carlos Safadi Márquez is a person with severe Hemophilia A whose life and work have had a profound impact on the global bleeding disorders community. Safadi Márquez joined the Argentinian WFH NMO—the Hemophilia Foundation of Argentina—as a volunteer on the Board of Administration at the age of 21. In 1996, he attended the WFH World Congress in Dublin, and joined the WFH Youth Committee that same year.
For nearly three decades, he has been a dedicated volunteer with the WFH serving in key leadership roles. Through his contributions to WFH initiatives, and his leadership of the Fundación de la Hemofilia, in Argentina, he has helped to expand the support, education, and access to care for people with bleeding disorders.
Carlos Safadi Márquez’s invaluable experience will continue to be a great asset to the WFH as a Vice President, Finance. Please join us in welcoming him to the WFH Board of Directors.
