New! WFH Treatment Guidelines Resource Hub launched

The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) has launched the WFH Treatment Guidelines Resource Hub, a centralized online platform that gives healthcare professionals, researchers, people with bleeding disorders, and the wider community a streamlined way to access the latest evidence-based guidance for care. The Resource Hub brings together the WFH Guidelines for the Management of Hemophilia and the ASH ISTH NHF WFH 2021 Guidelines on the Diagnosis and Management of von Willebrand Disease in one location.

Also available in: Español

WFH guidelines are developed using a structured clinical approach and incorporate the input of hemophilia experts from around the world, including individuals with lived experience. This ensures that recommendations are scientifically robust, clinically meaningful, and relevant across diverse global settings. The WFH Treatment Guidelines Resource Hub makes everything easily accessible, includes both WFH treatment guidelines, and incorporates the WFH Living Guidelines Model (LGM) for hemophilia, which means that recommendations are updated as new evidence emerges and clinical practice evolves. The LGM model is built on increased transparency in the development process, a formalized evidence-to-decision framework, and enhanced supplemental materials including educational tools and webinars.

Since the LGM is based on continuous improvement, the Hub represents more than just a new website: it is an evolving resource designed to support informed decision-making and help translate the latest evidence into practice. The guidelines are organized by topic and accessible through a user-friendly interface. The Hub also provides access to the guideline development process, past versions, and additional educational resources.
