The webinar will examine key issues in managing bleeding during and after pregnancy, a critical area of care for women with inherited bleeding disorders. Participants will hear from experts about risk factors, clinical approaches, and strategies to improve outcomes for mothers affected by excessive bleeding. In addition to this, the webinar will highlight the 100th anniversary of the discovery of von Willebrand disease (VWD)—the most common inherited bleeding disorder—and reflect on progress made in diagnosis, care, and awareness over the past century.
This webinar will help underscore the importance of elevating women’s health issues in research, clinical care, and advocacy in our community. Interpretation will be offered in Spanish, French, and Arabic.
