In Trinidad and Tobago, collaboration between the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), local people with bleeding disorders (PWBDs), families, healthcare teams, national organizations, and international partners is helping reshape access to treatment and care for people with inherited bleeding disorders. These developments are being driven by the targeted efforts of the WFH through initiatives such as the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program; a Hemophilia Organization (HOT) Twinning between the Society for Inherited and Severe Blood Disorders of Trinidad and Tobago and the Canadian Hemophilia Society; a Hemophilia Treatment Centre (HTC) Twinning between the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex and SickKids in Toronto; and others.
