Today is World Hemophilia Day!

World Hemophilia Day is celebrated to raise the awareness and understanding of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. The theme of the event this year is “Adapting to change: sustaining care in a new world”.

World Hemophilia Day is celebrated to raise the awareness and understanding of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. The theme of the event this year is “Adapting to change: sustaining care in a new world”. The world has changed greatly over the last year, but one thing hasn’t: we are still in this together; join us today and tell the world how you have adapted to change during this unique time, and how you are working hard to help sustain care in a new world!

What can you do today?

  • Share your personal bleeding disorder stories, experiences, videos and pictures on the official World Hemophilia Day microsite
  • Add the #WHD2021 Facebook frame to your profile picture to “Light it up Red”!
  • Post on social media! Find prewritten #WorldHemophiliaDay posts that you can use for yourself in our social media toolkit and post pictures of how you’re virtually celebrating with the hashtag #WHD2021.
