- In today’s session, “The Family Experience: We Are Not Collateral Damage,” Dawn Rotellini, Karl Archibald, and Tatiana Bathfield shared personal reflections on growing up in families affected by bleeding disorders. They spoke candidly about heredity, guilt, and the role of family support. Their stories resonated strongly with the audience, inspiring others to share their own personal experiences and creating a meaningful moment of connection in the room.
- Today’s Welcome Reception featured fun, excitement, and networking opportunities galore. Participants had the chance to see a falconer, a henna artist, an Arabic calligrapher, and an Ayala welcoming dance.
- Tomorrow, we start bright and early at 8:00 with two free paper sessions: 1) Medical session on the latest clinical trials for bleeding disorders, and 2) advancements in MSK treatment and care, including ultrasound, pseudotumor classification, physical activity and joint health status.
