Among the contributions is the moderated poster, “Advancing Shared Decision-Making in Hemophilia”, which presents consensus-based best practice recommendations to support the implementation of shared decision-making in clinical practice, building on insights from the WFH Shared Decision Making Tool. Two other contributions—the oral presentation “The experience of Women and Girls with von Willebrand disease as captured in the World Bleeding Disorders Registry” and the moderated poster, “They’re Missing: The Underrepresentation of Women and Girls with Hemophilia in the World Bleeding Disorders Registry”—will underscore the ongoing gaps in care and representation for women and girls with bleeding disorders, and will offer insights than can be used to drive action.
The overview below shows all details on these oral presentations, moderated posters, and posters that will be shared with participants from Monday, April 20 to Wednesday, April 22.
Together, these posters and presentations will illustrate how data can be turned into action—strengthening shared decision-making, advancing research, and improving outcomes for the global inherited bleeding disorders community.
