He has been a member of the Steering Committee for the Spanish national member organization (NMO), the Federación Española de Hemofilia, and was also a lay member of the Executive Committee for the WFH for five years. He is currently President of the Real Fundación Victoria Eugenia, an organization that works to promote and disseminate scientific research in the field of hemophilia and other associated conditions.
