WFH statement on conflict in Ukraine

The WFH would like to express solidarity with the bleeding disorders community, and with all people who are currently impacted by the conflict in Ukraine.

Also available in: Français

We know that local bleeding disorders communities are currently living through unprecedented difficulties and our teams are closely monitoring the situation to best support those who are affected. This includes collaborating with national member organizations (NMOs), hemophilia treatment centres (HTCs), and other stakeholders in Ukraine—and in neighbouring countries that are affected by the conflict. We are working to determine how to best deliver donated factor and other support to where it is needed, so that people with bleeding disorders (PWBDs) can continue to have access to care. We will continue to provide updates on what the WFH is doing to support our community. On behalf of everyone at the WFH, we hope that peace will return soon.

If you want to donate to support the bleeding disorders community in Ukraine and in other affected countries, please click here and enter “Ukraine” in the “Comment” field.

We’ve accomplished a lot this year, we need your help to continue strong.
