The 12th World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Global Forum will take place virtually from November 4 to 5, 2021 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET). This important event—which was first held in Montreal in 2000—has evolved over the years to expand its focus from blood safety and supply to a wider range of topics. Current and ongoing issues in the hemophilia and bleeding disorders community will be touched upon at the Global Forum this fall, including talks on access, safety, new treatments, diagnostics and real-world data.
The Global Forum will be co-chaired by Glenn Pierce, MD, PhD, WFH Vice-President Medical, and Radoslaw Kaczmarek, PhD, Chair, WFH Coagulation Product Safety, Supply, and Access Committee. They invite you to join us online to listen to experts discussing a wide range of topics, including the following:
- Product safety
- Access to care
- Plasma
- Non-factor replacement therapies
- Gene therapy
- von Willebrand disease
- Real world data
