The General Assembly typically takes place as an in-person event in Congress years, and as a virtual event in non-Congress years, although it was held virtually in 2020 because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. This year the meeting took place as a hybrid event, with both presentations and votes held virtually and in-person. The results were compiled live and communicated during the meeting.
Glenn Pierce, MD, PhD, and Barry Flynn were both voted in for second terms as Vice President, Medical, and Vice President, Finance, respectively. Also, two medical members and two lay member positions were up for election. The following table shows the complete election results:

Three organizations were accredited as full national member organizations (NMOs), one was added as an associate NMO, and there was a vote with the result that one NMO is no longer with the WFH. The total number of WFH NMOs is 147.
