In 2021, the WFH continued to provide our NMOs and HCPs with the knowledge and tools they need to identify, support, and treat people living with bleeding disorders in their communities, while promoting global advocacy and collaboration to achieve our common goals. We helped make a difference by:
- Identifying and diagnosing people living with bleeding disorders
- Providing adequate care and treatment
- Collecting, interpreting, and disseminating data
- Advocating for safe and sustainable treatment
- Supporting the community through several COVID-19-related measures
The impact of these collective efforts was far reaching:
- 22,000+ patients accessed treatment through the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program
- 104 treatment centres benefitted from the WBDR
- 156 countries were reached through global programs and events
