The WFH PACT Program realized many accomplishments in 2024. The Program surpassed its five-year goal of identifying 20,000 new people with bleeding disorders across 20 countries ahead of schedule—reaching 27,176 last year. The third PACT Advocacy Academy cohort graduated, improving the skillset of more community leaders. Also, WFH PACT Program stakeholders were able to forge stronger partnerships with key stakeholders—including governments—to further advance access to treatment and improve care for people with inherited bleeding disorders. This included signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with ministries of health—notably of Bolivia and Brazil—and fostering policy changes and increased government investment.
