Training and Education

The WFH USA supports WFH Training and Education programs that provide our community with the information and tools they need to improve access to diagnosis and ensure reliable access to safe treatment and care. Your support of this key area represents an important investment in the future of the global bleeding disorders community.

Our healthcare development programs address one or more aspects of sustainable, comprehensive care for people with inherited bleeding disorders. We work actively to develop the capacity of our National Member Organization leaders and local healthcare professionals, often in tandem to ensure they are working effectively together to improve and sustain care for their community.

Collaboration can lead to powerful transformation. The WFH hosts several in-person and online events that bring together healthcare providers, patient advocates and other stakeholders to promote dialogue and exchange and to improve the lives of people with bleeding disorders around the world. We also develop and share educational resources to help people with bleeding disorders and their families, patient organizational leaders, and healthcare providers reach their goals. These resources, available in printed and electronic format, are free and easily accessible in many languages to serve our diverse community on the WFH eLearning platform and/or the WFH website.
