Depuis l\u2019\u00e2ge de cinq ans, il subissait des saignements aigus et fr\u00e9quents et devait compter sur des visites \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital pour se voir administrer du plasma frais congel\u00e9. Sa scolarit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 perturb\u00e9e et il a d\u00fb l\u2019interrompre \u00e0 partir de la fin de l\u2019\u00e9cole primaire. Seila a \u00e9t\u00e9 orient\u00e9 vers un centre de traitement de l\u2019h\u00e9mophilie \u00e0 Phnom Penh, o\u00f9 on lui a diagnostiqu\u00e9 une h\u00e9mophilie A mod\u00e9r\u00e9e\u00a0; il a alors commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 recevoir du facteur fourni par le <a href=\"https:\/\/wfh.org\/fr\/aide-humanitaire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Programme d\u2019aide humanitaire de la FMH<\/a>. \u00c0 cause de son travail tr\u00e8s physique en tant que m\u00e9canicien, les m\u00e9decins ont fini par le mettre sous traitement prophylactique mensuel par th\u00e9rapie non substitutive. Rien qu\u2019en 2024, c\u2019est plus de 3,7\u00a0millions d\u2019UI de facteur et plus de 140\u00a0000\u00a0mg de th\u00e9rapies non substitutives que le pays a re\u00e7us en dons. En apportant aux patient\u00b7es un flux plus r\u00e9gulier et plus pr\u00e9visible de dons humanitaires, le Programme d\u2019aide humanitaire de la FMH leur permet un acc\u00e8s constant et fiable aux traitements et aux soins.
