Cet homme a connu plusieurs saignements au genou gauche sur une p\u00e9riode de deux ans, ce qui a conduit \u00e0 une arthrite septique, des s\u00e9quelles durables et une mobilit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s r\u00e9duite. Les m\u00e9decins du Shabrawishi Hospital ont recommand\u00e9 qu\u2019il subisse une arthroplastie. Cependant, pratiquer cette op\u00e9ration d\u00e9licate sur M. El Tahan n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 possible que gr\u00e2ce au don de facteur du Programme d\u2019aide humanitaire de la FMH. Le patient a par la suite connu le m\u00eame probl\u00e8me au genou droit, n\u00e9cessitant la m\u00eame intervention chirurgicale, permise une fois de plus par un don de facteur du Programme. Depuis, M. El Tahan est compl\u00e8tement remis\u00a0: il a retrouv\u00e9 une mobilit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te de ses deux jambes, et il peut \u00e0 nouveau travailler pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille.
