Dr. Valentino then worked in the biopharmaceutical industry for seven years at Baxter Healthcare, Baxalta, Shire, and most recently at Spark Therapeutics, where he was Vice President and strategy lead for hematology. He has published more than 160 peer-reviewed manuscripts and participated in phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical research trials as well as leading a basic science research laboratory investigating the molecular basis of joint disease in hemophilia patients.
